We’re huge fans of Rocksbox! As Marketing Director, what does your day to day look like in shaping the Rocksbox brand?

My days are focused around finding new Rocksbox members. I ensure that our paid marketing materials are on-brand and effective, and also oversee social media and influencer marketing. The marketing team works closely with our merchandising team to  ensure that we are displaying our many jewelry brands in the best light, encouraging our members to discover new pieces and add them to their wish lists.

What kind of details just scream “Rocksbox” in a photoshoot location?

We try to keep our locations simple, to really let the jewelry shine. We look for locations that will support the jewelry styles or brands we’re featuring in each shoot. We’ve featured a fun outdoor backyard for a summer shoot of playful jewelry, and a sophisticated indoor apartment when we want to feature more day-to-night styles. The Rocksbox brand is playful, so while we keep the locations simple we try to backdrops with a bit of and texture to really help the jewelry pop. Of course being able to find studios that are easily accessible to our offices in San Francisco is a plus.

It’s easy and enjoyable to look through the different locations available, and we’ve been able to find locations that fit very different shoots, all nearby and easily accessible.

Tell us a little more about your new holiday line! What was the inspiration behind the pieces? Do you have any tips on styling these pieces for winter wardrobes?

The holidays are a really fun time of year when it comes to jewelry and accessories - there are so many opportunities to add sparkle to outfits. Of course, parties call for extra flair and we’ve brought on a ton of new styles to help make those party outfits really stand out.

Overall, what was your Home Studio experience like?

I love that Home Studio has non-traditional locations that can we can make our own. When shooting, it’s amazing how you can transform the space through model, outfitting, and props.

Working with Home Studio has been a great experience.  It’s easy and enjoyable to look through the different locations available, and we’ve been able to find locations that fit very different shoots, all nearby and easily accessible. Every shoot in a Home Studio location has been incredibly smooth.
