Home Studio List is looking for a Reservation Manager to help manage our reservations via email!

In this role, you will be handling customer emails (in Zendesk) for reservation requests; answering customer questions and making follow ups as needed. We have a “bank” of language you can pull from for most inquiries; however on the occasion you may need to help customers problem solve unique situations and can do so with the team :)

Home Studio List is a platform of styled homes available to rent by the hour for photoshoots and creative productions - think of us like the Airbnb for content creation! Our hand-picked community of hosts enjoy working with elite brands and photographers, and earn money on each rental on their space.

We have an AMAZING team! You’ll be working alongside Hannah (the founder) + our all-women team of 4! We are all dear friends and have a wonderful, supportive community where we all go the extra mile for each other.

👩‍💻 Our platforms

  • Zendesk - all communication is via Zendesk tickets. We would prefer experience with Zendesk!

  • Airtable - we use this as our management tool, it is very easy to learn! No experience needed.

  • Paypal - we use this to send and receive payments. No experience needed.

  • Drift - we use this for live chat. No experience needed.

💛 Reservation Manager Responsibilities

  • Support the reservation throughout the process of request, approval, and confirmation; providing email support to the guest and host throughout

  • Respond to guest and host emails within 1 hour during our business hours (9am-6pm Mountain Standard Time)

  • Be proactive with follow ups and call out any potential issues you see 

  • You are the sole owner of your requests, and you know them in and out! :) 

  • If the request is denied, personally recommend other spaces the guest might like. Do as much as possible to help them find another space suitable for their production.

  • Be available and prepared for any time sensitive requests the day before and on the day of reservations. If you are unable to do so, please find someone to help you so it does not slip through the cracks.

  • 2 quick (15 mins or less) touch bases with Hannah (me!) per week

  • Post your Thursday update weekly on #weekend-mgmt channel

  • Organizing Zendesk tickets 

  • Respond to Drift Live Chat inquiries

📅 Time Commitment

  • The time commitment of this job is 10/hrs per week to start. I would love to ramp this up to 20 soon once we have established we are a good fit!

  • Availability M-F during our business hours 9am-6pm Mountain Standard Time, however you do not need to be working the entirety of this block. We just ask you to maintain a response time of about less than 1 hour reply to each email.
